One taste and You’re in Texas

Here’s a big Texas tip for you if you or your company ever gives gifts….

We got a big ole’ gift basket from Texas Treats and….were we surprised!

It all came with my name on the jars and was completely personalized.  We ate the first jar of hot sauce and chips sitting on the couch watching a movie.  Of course, the dogs have to have their taste of any treats we are eating, and they loved ’em too!

Gift BasketTexas Treats has gifts for nearly every purpose.  Click on the link to see all they have and place an order.  They create personalized salsa and chip labels with the recipient’s name, the giver’s company name, or just about anything else on the customized labels.  They can even incorporate your company’s logo on their Texas themed food baskets, and food items.

When Old Jim Bob comes and gives a speech  for me next fall, (he doesn’t know about it yet) I plan on ordering a Texas themed gift basket from Texas Treats as a way of saying thanks.  ‘Course he’d rather have money, but he’s drank so much of my Scotch I expect he would be embarrassed to ask for a speaking fee.  He will  be happy to get a gift basket from Texas Treats.

I’m going to tell of few of my friends who have some rather large companies that occasionally try to bribe business away from their competitors.  Actually, they don’t bribe them, but they do business the old fashioned way….they actually take time to say “Thank You” to their customers.  What better way than using Texas Treats to say Thank You in an old fashioned Texas way?

So here’s a couple of ways to use Texas Treats gift baskets and gourmet foods:

  • Welcome gifts
  • Client thank you gifts
  • Speaker gifts
  • Sales tools
  • Trade show give-aways
  • and ‘just because’ gifts

Texas Treats has an array of services to ship your basket and can even use your shipping account.  They ship anywhere, including all over Texas, the USA, and locations around the world.  They offer corporate billing to frequent customers.

Texas Treats is headed up by founder and CEO Jackie Schwitter.  She serves every year as a food judge for the Texas State Fair and Dallas’ Fancy Food Show.  You know the quality of her stuff is great.  They also have a blog and you can read more about them by visiting TexasTreatsblog.com

Since 1991, Texas Treats has been providing Texas-themed gourmet gifts, including PERSONALIZED Texas-shaped tortilla chips and salsas, Texas-shaped cookies, containers, and gift baskets. Their  gifts are the perfect room amenities and thank you gifts for meetings, conventions, weddings, or visitors. They are a hit with Texas-based companies, as well as displaced Texans!

Here’s an even better idea.  By visiting their blog, you can also send a basket to a member of our armed forces.  Why not give that a try?  Can you imagine the face of a Texas boy when he gets a basket of Texas Treats from home sweet home?

Texas Treats is the real deal folks.  Tell them I sent you and get an extra 10% off your first purchase.

Now I know! Just let me know when and where and I will be there. Just make sure there is a bottle of Glenlivet in the gift basket.
