We attended a party on July 4th that was a Texas British-American celebration
Let me explain.

Our friends, Lu and Leslie Worsham have been celebrating July 4th in the Texas British American style for several years now. You see, Leslie is British and Lu is 100% American who was raised in Lakeview, Texas and spent a good career in the U.S. Armed Forces.
They are live music lovers, blues aficionados, Real Texans, and patriots. Leslie is the British part of the story and still has a very pleasing British accent. Lu is Texan through and through. Leslie has decorated their home with a lot of Texas icons and displays a Texas cookbook in her kitchen. Lu prepared brisket and smoked chicken out on his grill worthy of any Real Texas 4th of July celebration.
