Respect in Real Texas

A prime example of Respect in Real Texas from my favorite movie of all time and two of my favorite actors.  There is a lesson here to be learned by some younger folks……but most raised out here in Real Texas are instilled with respect from birth.

For reader’s to take note of: “byrd” is retiring this year after a long and distinguished career as a ‘Real Texas educator’. We wish him and his lovely wife a great retirement. Thanks for serving the kids.

I think that was one of McMurtry’s best books, and nobody played Gus and Call better than Robert Duvall and Tommy Lee Jones!
