Old Travis T, what a great entertainer, songwriter and musician. You know David, the exec’s on music row need to be lined up, tied up and force fed hours and days and weeks of unending Lady Gaga, Ice-T and Vanilla Ice tunes, so they can maybe get a small understanding of what they’ve done to us die-hard country fans. The majority of the music that’s put out by “Cashmille” now is country-flavored pop music. I honestly can’t remember when the last time it was that I listened to a “mainstream” country channel. Anywhere I go nowadays I’m dialing up the AM and tuning in to the static-laden channels that are still cranking out Merle, Possum, Porter and the dozens of other real country stars that made real country music way back when…

Amen, Bro. Dubois…..we are fortunate to have a station which calls itself ‘the possum’ on FM…comes out of Farmersville, TX. NE of Dallas!!! Plays all them Hanks: Williams I & II, Snow & Thompson, etc. etc.
