It’s raining out here in Real Texas so before we get cooled off too much and forget that we just came through a couple of months of triple digit heat, I better show you this video I shot a while back. I think the temperature was 105 that day and it was a scorcher. Today, the tropical storm Hermine is blowing through Texas and is spinning right on top of San Antonio as I write this.
It has cooled off considerably in Texas and goodness knows we needed a little cooler weather. So, file this bit of important information to be used next summer, or maybe even next month. You just never do know about the weather in Texas except that it will change…..
Hope you enjoyed that cooking demonstration. I can burn cookies just about as good as I can burn a brisket. Look over to your right and you can find my YouTube channel. Check out any interesting videos you might find there also.

This was hilarious. I’m going to send the link to my sister in Del Rio. Definitley gets hot enough out there, too!
David – You are a hoot! Love it … now how did they taste, and how long did they take?
Okay David, that was brilliant! I really enjoyed watching your video of you making cookies in your avalanche…..I’m sending this on to Troy, Chuck’s son, who also has an Avalanche…..
Thanks for sharing. Brilliant!!
