Bob Livingston sings Texas

Let me introduce you to Bob Livingston, a veteran of Texas music. He played for a long time with Jerry Jeff until they parted ways and then he went out on his own.  My cousin Jim Noble is a friend of Bob’s and Jim contacted me and told me Bob was playing in town. They became acquainted at the annual Kerrville Folk Festival. I met Bob Livingston in San Angelo, Texas at a place called Sealy Flats where he was having dinner with a friend.   Bob was not performing there, but instead was performing at another venue across town. San Angelo has become/is becoming quite a live music hotspot in Texas with new clubs and music venues opening up all the time.

Here Bob tells about house party venues and a program operated by the U.S. State Department. Pretty interesting narrative….and if you ever hear of Bob Livingston playing in your area, get a ticket. It will be worth it, he’s a great guy and a master musician.
