A catchy tune indeed…Bill Kirchen of Commander Cody fame. In 2005 he moved to the West Coast and then to Manchaca, Texas. In early 2007 he returned to Maryland, then subsequently moved to Austin, Texas in 2011.

I’ve had to teach quite a few Texas newcomers how to pronounce the word….Manchaca. It is pronounced man-shack. And I figured my old friend T.Goz had played with Bill Kirchen
at some point in both their heavy touring days.
