In America

The Raping and Pillaging of America

There is an insidious insanity in America,

And it’s time we bring it to a halt.
Our nation is hopelessly buried in debt,
We know it’s the Congress’ and Senate’s fault.

Spend, spend and then spend some more,

Now our survival is seriously in doubt.
Our elected officials have raped and pillaged our nation,
So now it’s time to vote the traitors out.
We spend too much on social programs,
Particularly on illegals that don’t belong.

It’s time to elect a new House and Senate,

Clearly, the ones now have done us wrong.

America, America what have we done to you?

An election is forthcoming; so let’s make our ballot boxes shout.
Your raping and pillaging of American must cease,
And it will, if we’ll vote those traitors out!

I have “preached” to anyone who will listen that if the conservative Republicans don’t gain 40 or more seats in the
House & 5 or 6 in the Senate, our beloved USA as we
know it will probably be a thing of the past. Government
is playing far to great a role in our economy: post office,
agriculture, education, banking, manufacturing, energy,
charity, medicine, etc. etc.–we are headed down the road to serfdom IF the trend is not halted and/or reversed!!

er, that should be “far TOO great a role in our economy”–
proofread too late!!

Spending too much on social programs? What exactly should we spending money on? Overseas military bases? Wars? Helping oil companies and bailing out banks?
Sheeesh!
I don’t think adding more Republicans or Democrats is going to help anything as both parties have gotten too big. They say fiscal conservative and then spend money we don’t have…..double talk. All they are interested in is getting elected again.

Vance, government is the problem, not the solution. If they simply would get out of the way, the free enterprise system and the American people would prosper. Our politicians need to follow what is lined out, very simply I must say, in the US Constitution and quit stepping on our Liberties and Freedom. If they can’t do that, I agree wholeheartedly with Ron and David, “Throw the Bums Out”! Our social programs are too generous and have created a entitlement mentality and a dependent class of people and frankly, I’m tired of paying for abled body people to sit on their butt and do nothing. We spend way too much money as a country on unnecessary garbage.

I have a simple approach. Vote ALL the Bums out. Replace them with new folks who will listen (hopefully conservative). No more foreign aid, no more welfare to anyone who is not a US citizen, no more bailouts, Congress shall pass no law that does not apply to them as it would to the general public, Congress must have Social Security and furnish their own health insurance and retirement, send all the illegal aliens home, put God back in our Schools and Government. Then see how fast things improve.

Very good David. Very wel written and to the proper point, But have you heard that just today the unions have pledged
100 million dollars to the Democrat’s political machine to stop the republicans from taking back trhe Senate and the House.
This will hurt our mission.

Holy Cow :
Now an interesting TexasCentric blog has gone politico. Maybe it always was…as I am a relative newbie. At any rate I have lost a refuge from all the madness of BOTH political parties!

Conservative Republicans? Horse balloons….the last bunch ran the spending up like there was no tomorrow. I’m not even counting the “off the books” war and the normal smoke and mirrors accounting.

For the common people Democrats? Forget it and check out the spending patterns of any large labor union as some verification. Now to approach fulfilling a campaign promise we and our grandchildren will be saddled with trillions in debt. Money saving medical care legislation? Give me a break! I may look funny but I didn’t just fall off a watermelon truck.

I’ll be the first to admit I don’t have all the answers or even very many. The TEA party doesn’t either but before folks demonize them (yes you news organizations & white house) at least listen and try to fine some common ground. We should listen to the left wing loonies as well. Somewhere in there lies some answers. All we have now in DC are partisan fighters for their own party’s causes…not
ours. That’s us….the people. Remember ?….government of the people by the people and for the people.

Lu, well said for someone trying to escape the lunacy of the current polical climate. It’s this simple, which ever party supports limited government, private propety rights and Liberty for the American people, I support that particular party. As a people, we shouldn’t have to choose the lesser of two evils when placing our votes at the ballot box. Frankly, if we all are honest with ourselves as Texans and Americans, the shape of this company is our own fault because we weren’t voiceful and active enough in the political process. We owe it to our Children and Grandchildren to clean this mess up and vote out those that will enslave them with taxes, overbearing government and infringe on their Liberties and Freedom. I’m glad to see the awakening of the American people and there will be hell to pay in November for those in Congress that have taken their constituents for granted over the years.

Sam–Right. It’s way past time to thin BOTH herds.

Please be reminded that 100% of Republicans in both
House & Senate voted against Socialized Medicine. I DO
think the Republican party can be saved…they average voting 75–80% conservative. Trust me, if we turn out a bunch of
liberal Democrats, the Republicans will become more conservative in a hurry. Don’t get me wrong, they sometimes do things that make by butt want a dip of snuff, but we do not have time to build a brand new party, we must work with what we have….they WILL get the message in a hurry!!

I agree with you Ron, however, the Republican National Committee, of which I’m a card carrying member continues to back candidates that aren’t conservative enough on some issues. Where there is a true conservative in the race, I believe we need to support that individual. That is truly the only way Republicans will quit taking the Conservatives for granted. Had John McCain valued conservatives more over the years, we would not be stuck with Barack Obama as our President. But, I agree you in the big scheme of things.

Kevin, I think you made my point better than I did. But seldom will we find a race where the Democrat is more conservative than the Republican. Dammit, the O.C. Fisher’s
and Bill Blakeley’s are a thing of the past!!
