Books We Read

Editor’s Note:  These are reviews of books I have read and enjoyed in hardcover, softcover, or on Kindle.  I still enjoy reading hardcover books, but I really understand the economics of self-publishing and admire self-publishers who have taken the trouble to independently publish, design, and market their own works in whatever format they choose….free of the big 5 publishers low royalties and restrictive contracts.  Many of the books I enjoy are written by Texas writers and celebrate the Texas lifestyle…..but writers are writers wherever they may be….Bless them all and their heroic efforts.
