This ‘jalapenos’ video has been making the rounds and I didn’t listen to it at first because there were warnings that “they” might try to ‘take it down’ because….of something I just can’t figure out. I just wrongly assumed it was some
sort of political propaganda from either the right or the left and sometimes I just can’t decide which one to use when…..well never mind. Yes, that is from a song, you’ll just have to remember which one.
This Bellamy Brothers ‘jalapenos’ song is actually a philosophically correct statement set into song. “What you say one day may come back to bite you in the rear later on.” I didn’t find it to be politically incorrect at all.
It’s a true statement….set to music. And it’s funny.
What you say or promise WILL come back to bite you in the rear later on. Better to just stick with the truth all the time rather than worry about what you said before…….
Let’s see what you think. Is this a political statement? Or just a true statement.

Good video, true and to the point whether you’re on the right or left. I despise all the liar politicians – Democrat or Republican.
Independently yours,
Mike Bradshaw
Nothing political about this. Good video, good song, just the way it is. Now I’ll get political, VOTE IN NOVEMBER!!
RD
I second that Ronnie.
Gettin’ real tired of these politicos….from libtards to rightwingnuts (some of their terms, not mine) Whatever happened to common sense? Oh wait…. its right here in this song !
Common sense and politicos seem to be foreign to each other in this day and time. That fact being stated, my votes in November, unfortunately, will be more directed against certain individual candidates rather than for a candidate. Hate to sound negative but it’s true. We must put a stop to the current nonsense in Washington, D. C.
Amen to all the comments already made and great video and song too.
Another thought came to my mind as I viewed the video and listened to the song and it has to do with the headlines in the paper this past week about Clemens being indicted for lying to Congress. Now being an absolute die-hard T-sipper, I happen to love “The Rocket” and I don’t know anything about “whoremones” or any of that other stuff or whether he took ‘em or not and I really don’t care too much about all that —- but what struck me as rather strange was how you could get indicted for an offense that could send you to the penitentiary for “lyin’ to a bunch of liars”. How could that possibly be right?
God Bless the Republic of Texas!
Another amazin’ deduction from the Law West of the Guadalupe. you are so right! Why would you be indicted for lying to a bunch of liars? How could that happen?
Great comment!
Congress may be concerned that if Clemens is guilty of lying, and they don’t nail him, then he may become famous for outlyin’ the liars. This could lead Clemens into running for Congress………..well, you can understand the implications there.
