Jerry Vincent loves to celebrate the Real Texas Lifestyle and he often takes his two wagons with him. He sleeps in one and cooks in the other and generally has a great time with his avocation of celebrating all things Texas.
He has one wagon with the Gonzales “Come And Take It” flag painted on the side. Another wagon
is a fancy cook’s wagon where he has a cooker/barbecue pit mounted in the bed and he fixes Judge Roy’s Beans and lots of other tasty stuff. Together, the two wagons make a great pair to travel with.
Jerry is also a member of a motorcycle gang and they are a motorcycle gang in the best sort of way. He rides a Harley, had ridden Harley’s, and generally loves the retired biker lifestyle. Except he has a place out on in the country on the Creek which also takes a lot of his time. He is a retired teacher, so don’t worry too much about him and his friends getting into too much trouble. He and his friends are all a great bunch of folks and they all love Texas.
The celebration of Texas Independence Day was split into two parts this year by Jerry and his friends; The motorcyle rally will be held a little later, but the Texas Independence celebrations was held this past weekend on March 6, the day the Alamo fell in San Antonio in 1836. Of course, Texas Independence Day is March 2 every year.
Here’s a short video of Jerry explaining about the celebration:
We love celebrations like this and try to attend a Texas related celebration wherever we are in the Great State during the month of March which is also Texas History month. We bet you can still find a Texas Celebration in your part of Texas if you look just a little bit.
After all, San Jacinto Day is coming up on April 21. It’s just another reason to have a party celebrating Texas and the Texas Lifestyle. We here at Real Texas Blog.com encourage that sort of behavior.
Jerry and his friends just can’t help it. They love Texas.

Loved the video. Jerry was once my son-in-law. I still love him. We toured France and Spain on Harley’s in 2000. Glad to see him looking so good and enjoying life. David thanks for the video and your good work. Elton Brindley. p.s. made me want a Lone Star.
