Humor is an Attitude

My buddy Jim Bob has a new book out and it’s titled, “Humor is an Attitude.” He’s a self help expert who refuses to help you focus on what’s wrong with your jim-bob-book-coverlife……instead, he points out with humor, what is right with your life. He wants to give you the ability to laugh at life and love it.

Jim Bob won’t offer advice on getting your finances in order or how to straighten out an obnoxious colleague either. He doesn’t even include his sure fire strategy for calculating how much to tip a pizza delivery person.

What you will find in Jim Bob’s very personal book is everything you need to know about the care and feeding of your Humor Attitude. Here’s what Jim Bob says, “This is definitely not a ‘how-to’ book. There’s no check list or any 1,2,3 action to take. You won’t find any A,B,C things to do either.  It’s a ‘Why-To’ book.   Hopefully, it will persuade you that humor, in the context of an attitude, can simply make your life more enjoyable.”

Jim Bob’s only serious problem is that he’s an Aggie.  We keep a bottle of The Glenlivet Scotch here at the house for his visits.  His bottle is almost empty.  Maybe that’s why he’s in a good mood most of the time.

I’ve known Jim Bob for a number of years and have admired his sense of humor very much.  We’ve worked together on community projects and some publishing ventures.

He’s moved out of Real Texas to the big city of Houston and is now a successful public speaker after a long career with the Government helping farmers with the USDA.  You can order his book by visiting his website at….where else….Laugh Your Way Out.

Go get it and change your Humor Attitude.

You’ll feel better when you do.

I’m David Werst out in Real Texas…

….With a great attitude!!

Yes, I moved out of “Real Texas” but I did it to help the good folks of Houston – they need to slow down a little bit and learn to look at life from the “Real Texan” perspective.

As far as the Aggie comment, I proudly plead “guilty!”

As far as the The Glenlivet Scotch comment – the reason I haven’t been to see you lately is that I knew the bottle was almost empty.

Thanks for the “plug” and kind words. Don’t quite have the website ready to take book orders so folks can just email me at jimbobspeaker@gmail.com and I will ship them a book. They can send payment after they get the book. We would have a “hand-shake” agreement – the way business is done out in Real Texas!
