HCR No. 50 has been reported favorably out of the State Affairs Committee with no Amendments. Next step is for it to be brought up on the floor of the Texas Senate for a vote. Call your Senator and tell him [or her] to "Get 'er Done"!!!!

Okay Sammie.

Try it this way.

Go to this link and then in the middle of the page it has a Search Legislation area towards the top.

Type this in exactly as it is here or just copy it from here and paste it:

The Bill Number is: HCR50

http://www.capitol.state.tx.us/

If you get another error my friend, then your statr governmnet has changed it's address. Could it have anything to do with seceding? I doubt it.

Good luck on finding out. I know you guys out there are excited if it happens.

Thanks Sammie!!! Let me fight my fight here first and if we lose, I'll fall back and regroup with you guys.

Here's the link for it:

http://www.capitol.state.tx.us/BillLookup/History.aspx?LegSess=81R&Bill=HCR50

I hope it's true too but, as you'll see, it is. The paperwork was file last night at 11:47 pm

Keep me up to date on how it's going with you guys over there. I've already sent our state reps a request for us to secede. That was a month or so ago.

Good luck y'all.

From what I read yesterday, your Governor submitted paperwork for Texas to secede.

Now, here's my delima.

If the state I live in right now, Georgia, doesn't do the same, then I want to move to Texas.

I was born in Savannah but, raised north of "The Mason Dixon Line" in a state that's a Blue state. That's why I'm back in my birth state.

When I was playing Country Music, includes Southern Boggie, Swing, etc., one of the best bands I was in was from Dayton, Ohio. Why was it one of the best? Because, their name was "LONESTAR". That was before the national pretty boy band came on the scene a few years back. Our band was playing on the road back in the early `80's. So, we've got dibs on the name as far as I'm concerned. LOL! Of course, that's unless you guys already have a band called that.....(BSEG).

Dave, Rusty, Sammie, and any other Texan, I ask, since I was born in Georgia, could I legally become a resident of.......The Republic Of Texas?

Sounds like a great idea to me. Why would I want to move there you ask?

In the next round of BRAC, my place of employment will most likely become extinct. So, since I'm a tubbleweed anyway, where else would I want to live? TEXAS! Been through there many times and you're right. Your state is HUGE! Took me three days to get across it....LOL!

Listen y'all. I wish you the best. Our country is in the hands of some sick, commie individuals from California to Illinois straight on through to D.C.. Oh, and I can't forget Mass. either. Isn't that where Teddy boy left that young girl to drown that he was lovers with? Hum, now that's someone I want making decissions for my country.

Am I upset at the way it's going in our country? Humm......let me say it this way. Not yes but, HELL yes.

God Bless America, your and my Ancestors, Our Troops and most of all, The NRA.

Nuff said......for now.
